What you'll be doing
As a Dev / Ops engineer you'll work in a constantly evolving environment, due to technological advances and the strategic direction of our organisation.

to follow a logical approach and to carry out diagnostics on service provision / restoration activities for complex customer issues / requirements, pr

Negotiate with customers / vendors and to drive vendor / supplier to reach root cause and to take corrective action
Assessing the risk of impact of changes across the network, minimising the impact to customer experience.
Have a technical understanding of the PSTN / IP network, service, products and components.
Engaging Third line and design teams if required to help and support service delivery and resolution.
Define processes, and where required, tool specifications, to enable reactive, proactive and pre-emptive network control systems and processes.
Undertake a dev ops role to support and maintain the DA OA 999 platform, covering xAWS application, 999 Voice recorders, NGTS,OAP and MIS systems.
Manage day to day fault and change management queues.
Perform daily system checks and provide relevant reports.
Own, record and manage faults through to a satisfactory conclusion.
Look for continuous improvement and automation opportunites to prevent repeat faults, and speed up fault diagnosis.
