Our Business Relationship Managers are at the core of our digital projects and IT services. Driving value from our investments in technology they understand the needs of users and prioritise Digital Services delivery.

We are seeking someone passionate about customer service, technology innovation and strategic planning to join our team.

Building on a highly successful response to the recent global pandemic, we continue to re-define relationships with our customers.

We are moving from being the IT infrastructure provider for the organisation to a Digital Partner, helping the council reinvent public services in a post-Covid world.

In this role you will benefit from working in a diverse environment with broad input across a wide range of council departments.

You will establish strategic relationships with other council services developing and informing long-term technology delivery plans and strategies.

Working alongside business analysts and IT architects, the Business Relationship Manager coordinates discovery activity and is responsible for initiating new Digital Services projects.

They will also identify opportunities to extend digital capabilities and support the adoption of technology across the organisation.

We are seeking candidates with excellent collaboration skills combined with sound business acumen grounded in the digital world as we :

  • ensure our technology platforms and digital offer are up to date and fit for the future;
  • build an agile and customer focused IT organisation that brings deep technical and business knowledge to how we deliver successful solutions that meet the needs of our residents;
  • unlock the digital capabilities of our workforce in making the most of what technology can offer to transform services.
