Our project managers play a pivotal role in Openreach’s success in building the UK’s connected future. You will build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders whilst providing project progress and performance updates to our operational managers.
With your strong programme / project management skills and your ability to influence, you will lead projects forward to build the fibre network.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Whilst spinning plates, from contractors to fleet, you will prioritise workstreams to deliver successful national and regional customer outcomes across several projects.
Aligning supply & demand with the agreed quarterly plan and deploying resource effectively.
You will strive to build warm relationships with engineering & planning partners, driving collaboration to ensure the end goal is at the forefront of everyone’s mind.
You will be confident at presenting plans and progressing updates to Senior Managers, with a keen eye for interpreting high amounts of data.

No matter what industry or background you come from, experience of leading projects, no matter the scale, is crucial. We want people who can quickly build relationships and connect with people.
You’ll bring a strong understanding of P&L with good experience in cost control. Commerciality is key, you will be given independence within your role so the ability to spot opportunity and overcome market challenges is key
Above all, you will have the ability to lead and nurture your teams and projects.
