Job Description

Our Continuous Improvement (CI) team have an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Analyst to join the team on a maternity cover basis.

With an understanding and experience of using lean tools and White Belt certification, you will be enthusiastic about process, documentation and standardization.

You will be part of our drive towards data-driven process improvement and digital process excellence.

Reporting to the Head of Process Excellence, you will be at the forefront of creating process control infrastructure at Taylor & Francis in collaboration with your CI colleagues and key stakeholders.

You will have a passion for process documentation and enjoy working within a specific framework and methodology. You will deliver onboarding to our new Digital Business Process Management (DBPM) system Nintex Promapp whilst also owning the day-to-day running of the Process Directory.

You will become an expert in Nintex Promapp enabling you to provide first line support to colleagues around the business.

You will also have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to project and program work across the CI Team by working from a shared Kanban of activity.

The Continuous Improvement Analyst will :

  • Take an active role in delivering our digital business process management strategy, using knowledge of process documentation and standardization
  • Carry out ingestion of processes into Nintex Promapp
  • Support colleague onboarding and training, including running the helpdesk for Nintex Promapp
  • Use the process framework to manage process control and identify gaps to be filled
  • Engage with stakeholders across the busines to help them with DBPM and process documentation best practice
  • Use Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology to support other improvement activities, such as rapid improvement events, workshops, process control and metrics
  • You will work using Kanban to pick up varied tasks that support project and program work led by others in the CI team, such as process data analysis, process mapping and VoC interpretation
  • Qualifications

    What we’re looking for :

  • Experience of Lean Six Sigma, trained to White Belt level as a minimum
  • Experience of creating process documentation or Standard Operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Experience of mapping processes
  • Someone who enjoys working as part of a team but is a self-starter
  • Proactive with excellent attention to detail
  • A drive and passion for continuous improvement
  • An analytical approach to tasks and activity
  • Self-awareness and a willingness to continually develop
  • Good communication skills

  • Please note this is a UK based position and the successful candidate will be required to travel to our office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire, on a regular basis.

    This role is offered on a maternity cover basis. You must have the right to work and live in the United Kingdom. This role is open to candidates in all locations across the UK.
