Job Description SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant -. Are you a creative graduate in Psychology who has a passion for working with young people.
Do you have a keen interest in developing your SEN understanding?. Are you looking to gain experience in working with young people with social and mental health difficulties?
About the Role : . *Full time - a couple of days handover before Christmas with a full time start from January 2019. *You will be required to work on a 1 : 1 or small group basis with pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties, including pupils with diagnosis of ADHD and / or Autism.
Long term contract with the potential to go permanent after 15 weeks. About you : . *Excellent behaviour management skills.
Punctual and reliable. *Calm and resilient approach. *A passion for helping young people progress and develop. *Previous experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour and social, emotional and mental health difficulties is desirable.
About the school : . *Mainstream School with an increasing number of pupils at risk of exclusion and those with Social Emotional Mental Health Needs.
