This is an advertisementfor a Relief School Crossing Patrol position with no guaranteed hours of work each week. Hours and duties will benotified as required to cover sickness / holiday and additional Ad Hoc call outs,often at short notice.
You will be responsible, reliable and will play an important role inensuring the safety of children crossing the road on the way to and fromschool.
You will also have the communication skills to deal with young people anddrivers clearly and effectively. Full induction training and a uniform will beprovided.
An awareness of the Highway Code along with experience of working with childrenand young people would be advantageous, although not essential, as fulltraining will be provided.

This post involves access to vulnerable service users and if you were offered aposition, you will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure BarringService (DBS) background check, the cost of which will be met by the employer.
The salary for this vacancy will be £9.43 - £9.81 per hour.
