Teaching Personnel are working with local authorities (including virtual schools and SEN services) to provide catch up tuition programmes across West Sussex.
We currently have demand for tutors in Chichester, Bognor Regis, Worthing, Haywards Heath, Crawley & Horsham.
The majority of placements will be for pupils awaiting school placements and tuition will be provided in a home environment.
These pupils have often missed chunks of education and require specialist support to ensure they do not fall too far behind the curriculum.
We expect tuition requests to continue to rise within core subjects (Maths, English and Primary) and experienced educators in these field would be beneficial in order to fulfil the current need.
We support pupils ranging from KS1 to Post 16 so are seeking both primary and secondary specialists.
Your new role
As a 1 : 1 tutor you will plan, develop and provide individualised programmes for students in their home environment. Often pupils have varied SEN needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behaviour, PDA, and trauma.
Tuition requests vary from 1 to 15 hours depending on the needs of the pupil. You are able to accept as much or as little work as you like and is ideal for those looking for flexibility.
Likewise, we have capacity to provide multiple students to make up full time hours.
