An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst to join an Accommodation Services strategic project. The Accommodation Services strategic project was approved to purchase, integrate, configure and release a new system to support the booking of University halls of residence accommodation.
It will provide an outstanding student experience for new and prospective Strathclyde students when applying to stay in University accommodation, and a commercially-competitive experience for external customers who book accommodation during the University summer break.
Alongside these benefits, we will provide enhanced management reporting and streamlining of processes for Accommodation Services staff.
If you enjoy evaluating and analysing data, creating solutions, communicating with a variety of people, getting hands on with the products and have a firm grasp of information technology, this business analyst role could be just what you are looking for.
You will have skills and a track record in several of the following :
You will join the Accommodation Management System project team, and be involved in the remaining lifecycle of the project, and the provision of ongoing support.
You will gain a thorough understanding of the Accommodation business process and using this understand analyse and interpret design requirements and process changes.
Whilst this is not a technical role, an understanding of IT projects, IT service delivery, IT applications configuration and support is essential.
