  • Your learning and development on the placement will enable you to work closely with the manager and / or assistant manager to support the smooth running of the store, assisting with the following;
  • Representing DEBRA.

    Helping maintain a great shopping environment for customers.

    Providing excellent service on the till.

    Helping manage the safety standards in the shop.

    Helping to provide a great experience for volunteers.

  • The following duties are what you will gain experience in;
  • Sales

    Customer service skills

    Stock Rotation

    Managing donations safely


    Learning about volunteers

    Administration & Security

    Cash Handling on the tills

    File and safely store paperwork

    Health & Safety

    Help to keep yourself and others safe by following the safety rules in the shop

    No formal qualifications required

    As a Kickstart Gateway we are offering young people support with long-term employability support by offering vocational skills and development, starting from the first week of job placement.

  • This includes : SWOT analysis; skills assessment and career planning goals; CV building; interview techniques and online etiquette;
  • on-line platform tutorials; Introduction to Microsoft packages; An introduction to Human Leadership; Certificate of Work Readiness qualification (SQA);
  • Health and Well-being and regular communication between TIGERS and our employer partner at all stages of the Kickstart Placement.
