The successful candidate is required to manage and coordinate the daily activities of the team of Resident Engineers through effective planning and organisation to represent Swisslog in a professional manner.
All decisions made on site are always with customers in mind providing a world class customer service.The successful candidate will need to ensure that all work is carried out to a satisfactory level as per the SLA for the customer.
You will be required to coach, mentor and conduct performance management reviews with your team.We are looking for someone who can undertake administrative tasks such as shift cover rota, holiday and sickness cover.
Also, you must be able to take responsibility for all installation and commissioning issues, site safety and site administration.
The Engineering Team Leader will have to ensure that the Company’s and customers safety regulations are always followed and to report any anomalies immediately.
You must also prepare and participate in method statements, risk assessments but also driving continuous improvement on site with their teams to comply with health and safety legislation.
YOUR PROFILEIt is essential that the successful candidate has strong communication skills, both written and verbal and has well developed listening skills.
Also, customer facing experience and the ability to understand customer requirements is a key success factor in this role.
The ideal candidate will need to have background experience in leading engineering staff (3 years required). Applicants should have the experience in managing staff performance and experience in mentoring and the tools training.
