You will be the primary point of contact for all matters relating to our SAM tooling, and will lead on Infrastructure Software Vendors, and reporting.

If you have the following skills we would like to hear from you : Experience of working in an organisation that utilises cloud based infrastructure, in particularly Amazon AWS, and able to demonstrate an understanding of how to capture software inventory data from a dynamic cloud environment.

A strong understanding of datacenter and application infrastructure and how it relates to complicated metrics from vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM and other tier 1 software vendors.

Appreciation of software discovery and inventorying across different operating systems (Windows, UNIX-based, and various flavours of Linux) Preferred Skills : Knowledge and previous experience of working with Snow as a SAM tool Reporting : Experience of SQL Server Reporting Services or similar, Ability to navigate and interpret databases and data in third party products.

Experience and knowledge of using Tanium to gather software inventory preferable. Knowledge and experience of working with Flexera Data Platform & / or Flexnet License Manager.

Data Analytics, and the production of Enterprise level dashboards. Preferred Qualifications : ITIL v3 Foundation + additional ITIL modules Any Snow License Manager Qualification (or equivalent qualification from an alternate SAM vendor) CSAM, SAM Essentials or other SAM specific qualification We would like to hear from candidates who have current experience in the Software Asset Management or candidates coming from a technical background, with some Configuration Management experience.
