We are looking for a Senior Business Consultant to join our EMEA Consulting Services team which strives for consulting excellency, efficiency in configuration and standardization, knowledge sharing and collaboration across divisions and market units.

You will join our Service Line; Investment Book of Records (IBOR) and use your experience from banks, asset managers and / or insurance companies.

You will deal with the complete process chain from trading (front office) and reporting, incl. collateral management, all types of corporate actions, process automation e.

g. via SWIFT messages and automized reconciliation with counterparties externally and internally. You will be exposed to the complete spectrum and lifecycle financial instruments and their valuation, from plain vanilla equity and fixed income instruments to complex OTC derivatives.

As part of your induction you will be hands-on’ in our software system and attend the three-weeks’ SimCorp Dimension® Academy.

Your responsibilities

As a Senior Business Consultant you will take over a range of tasks in a project team such as :

  • Responsibility for major parts of SimCorp Dimension® implementation projects : You know the customers requirements and processes as well as the lifecycle processes of financial instruments at banks, asset managers and / or insurers and outline solutions for optimal use of SimCorp Dimension®.
  • Close cooperation with the project manager and key role in leading projects to success.
  • Key contact for our customers for all questions in connection with SimCorp Dimension®.
  • Specify interfaces in coordination with the customers and responsibility for the implementation and user acceptance
  • Advise the customers in regards to the functional use of our software
  • Conduct training for colleagues and customers on request
  • Enhance and optimize existing solutions
  • Close cooperation and ongoing knowledge sharing with functional experts in SimCorp globally to provide excellent solutions for the customers
  • Professional areas in Consulting Services are : financial instruments and their valuation, trading, portfolio management, risk and portfolio analysis, compliance (regulatory), transaction processing and administration, (fund) accounting as well as regulatory reporting.
  • Your qualifications

    You enjoy deep-diving to find solutions and at the same time keep the overview even in complex situations. In addition, you bring with you the following qualifications or willingness to learn :

  • Experience implementing or configuring investment management systems similar to SimCorp Dimension®; i.e. Calypso, Murex, Charles River, Aladdin.
  • Excellent knowhow in one of the following areas : trade processing, valuation of financial instruments or deep knowledge about alternative investments from the banking, asset management and / or insurance environment
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills and a high degree of commercial awareness, customer orientation and quality consciousness
  • Team spirit and a desire to share your knowledge
  • Fluency in English, additional language abilities would be of advantage
  • Readiness to travel
  • Degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Economics or similar qualification
