We are looking for somebody conceptual, who can think strategically and is passionate about creating disruptive ideas that can work cross-

channel. They will be responsible for the creation and development of advertising and comms ideas, with particular focus on their visual appearance.

These ideas could exist in many formats from posters and print advertisements, to TV commercials, Direct Marketing leaflets, mobile applications and websites and video.

They should combine artistic sensibilities and understanding with knowledge of design and production processes to create work that engages those it is aimed at.

They ensure messages are strengthened by conveying meaning visually, as well as through the accompanying words.

Job Description :

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Adeptness with leading design software packages
  • Working collaboratively with Creatives, UX or Developers to deliver a range of outputs to the highest quality and to brief
  • Agency experience in designing cutting-edge websites, interfaces and / or digital campaigns (including banners, microsites, emails)
  • An exceptional on-line portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts and highly considered visual executions
  • Knowledge / understanding of HTML and CSS can be beneficial but is not always essential
  • A determination to achieve and succeed
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • The ability to see projects through from inception to production
  • Consistency regardless of project size
  • Good organisational skills that support the rest of the team
  • The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
  • Excellent design and spatial awareness skills
  • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Good After Effects / Premier video skills
  • Good MS Powerpoint
  • Ideal Candidate

  • 3-5 years experience in an agency environment or other relevant industry
  • A keen interest in an excellent understanding of branding
  • Experience delivering and inputting on strategically-led creative work
  • Client-facing experience preferred

    The role will report into the gyro Manchester MD and the gyro UK Executive Creative Director.
