KMPT provides healthcare services to a diverse population across a large area covering Thanet in the East of the county and Dartford in the North.
We are a Partnership Trust working with Kent County Council to support the local population with both their mental health and social care needs.
The Older Adults Team provides in-patient and community services for Older Adult with the patient being at the centre.We are currently undergoing a period of transformation developing new pathways and services and we are looking for a Head of Service who can successfully develop our Older Adult Services.
We are looking at new ways of working, role redesign and innovative ways of including our clients in settings that are conducive to their recovery.
Who we are looking forAs the Head of Service, you will be responsible for the operational delivery and the development of in-patient services, ensuring they are provided in line with commissioner plans and that business opportunities within inpatients and community are maximised.
We are looking for someone to ensure the continuing delivery of high class operational services that are quality driven and safe.
Responsibilities will also include building business capability, to improve commercial awareness and the continual improvement of services across all in-patient and community teams.
Working closely with the Deputy Chief Operating Officer, you will further build on the transformation of the service for both the Care Group and the Trust.
The successful applicant will have a strong operational management background and a proven ability to manage and lead complex mental health teams.
You will have experience of delivering service developments whilst continuing to provide high performing operational services.
With a wealth of robust experience of working in mental health, you will be able to demonstrate the qualities expected to lead high quality, safe patient outcomes.
Above all, you will be an inspirational leader, working collaboratively with teams across the Trust and empowering staff at every level to make the right decisions for patients.
