Smart Futures is a great paid experience of work for ambitious, bright Year 12s (or equivalent) that can improve your chance of getting a job after school / college or going onto higher education.

The ten month programme, run by the EY Foundation starts with two weeks paid work experience in June.

Over the two weeks you will learn more about professional services and get to work with other businesses in a variety of industries, which could include healthcare, the arts and financial services.

You will also be allocated an EY Foundation mentor who will work with you one to one for ten months, helping you to make some of your biggest career choices to date.

Entry Requirements

  • Currently in Year 12 or 5th Year (Scotland) or equivalent
  • Studying A-Levels or Scottish Highers
  • Ambitious and motivated to join the world of work and have a career
  • Looking for a great paid experience of work this Summer that will help you secure a job after school / college, or a place at university
  • Students must live within 1 hour of the office
  • Have been eligible for free school meals at any point in the past six years
  • Attended a state school
