Sphera, a worldwide leader in Integrated Risk Management, is currently searching for a Project Manager.

Sphera has a fantastic opportunity to join a global consultancy team, working in a dynamic and challenging environment that is making a difference in the Environmental Performance, Operational Risk and Product Stewardship industries.

Sphera is offering the right candidate an opportunity to operate as a Consultant Project Manager to lead the implementations of our industry leading software.

We are looking for pro-active, energetic and self-motivated individuals that can drive a project from initiation through to completion.

We are looking for candidates with a demonstrable track record of commercial project delivery experience. Candidates with at least 2 years of working in a client facing and commercial environment will also be considered if you can demonstrate the core values, skills and drive required for project management.

Project Management certification (Prince2, PMI) is beneficial.

Role Description :

The Project Manager manages client projects, and acts as the leader and single point of contact for commercial engagements.

Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. The Project Manager will :

  • Oversee all aspects of projects
  • Liaise and manage stakeholders
  • Set deadlines, and assign responsibilities
  • Monitor and summarize progress of projects
  • Prepare reports for management regarding status of projects
  • Provide project reporting to client
  • The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.

    Experience with creating or defining commercial proposals is also a benefit.

    The candidate will :

  • Hold a bachelor's degree or higher, and at least 2 years of experience in a related area
  • Be familiar with project management concepts, practices and procedures
  • Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Lead and direct the work of others
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Have experience of working in a commercial and client facing environment
  • Responsibilities :

    The Project Manager will be responsible for :

  • Leading the planning and implementation of projects
  • Defining a project’s scope and goals
  • Planning and scheduling project timeline,
  • Coordinating project staff
  • Resource planning and allocation
  • Quality assurance
  • Carrying out risk assessment
  • Managing project administration, including all documentation
  • Meeting budgetary objectives
  • Reporting regularly to senior management
  • Managing client relationships
  • Tracking project performance
  • Project evaluations and results measurement
  • In addition :

    Successful candidates will :

  • Perform any other responsibilities effectively and diligently, that the manager may consider being within the job holders range of capabilities
  • Uphold and promote the company’s beliefs and values, applying them to all aspects of business
  • Be available for an element of international travel
