Linx 16 plus have services in Bristol, Gloucestershire,Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire and we are expanding these services now.
Weprovide supported accommodation services for young people preparing them forindependent living. Linx 16 plus is a bespoke transition solution created tosupport young people to live a valued lifestyle within the community.
Weprovide a supportive environment for young people, assisting them with furthereducation or encouraging them to get into a career.
Linx 16 plus in Hatfield is made up of 4 homes each providing a24 / 7 service for our young people. We have various shift patterns availableincluding long and short days, shifts vary between 8am and 10pm and wakingnight shifts are between 9pm and 9am.
We are looking for staff that can beflexible between these hours and are happy to work weekends on a rota basis,usually one weekend on, one weekend off.
Our Hatfield homes specialise in providing support for youngpeople who are leaving care, are in danger of being homeless, are unaccompaniedminors seeking asylum, pregnant teenagers and parent and child.
Each youngperson has their own life story, wishes and feelings and we understand this,building packages of support to meet their individual needs.
The teams in Hatfield work closely with social care workers,mental health teams and local colleges to ensure a clear support plan with setobjectives for our young people.
All of our staff are enrolled onto a level 3Diploma in Residential Childcare and are fully trained so that they excel andprogress, with our full support, in their chosen career at Linx 16 plus.
At Linx 16 plus, Hatfield, no day is the same - one day you mightbe hiking up a mountain, the next you might be supporting a Young Person toappointments, or using your culinary skills to teach Young People to prepareand cook a nutritious meal.

Due to the nature of the role, we will pay for you to complete anenhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, prior to starting withus.
