Drive sales excellence of the global sales team by enhancing their knowledge, skills and competencies needed to drive business results.
This includes but not limited to product knowledge, sales skills, territory management and account planning skills.
Enhance the sales management effectiveness through enhancing their leadership and Regional Management competencies including but not limited to team development, coaching, business planning and forecasting.
Work closely with Training Business Partner to assess customer’s market and modify training to align to specific market conditions and sales strategies.
Conduct knowledge and performance assessments to validate course learning objectives have been achieved.
Provide training to effectively on-board new sales and marketing professionals to ensure reduced ramp up time.
Provide advanced or adhoc product training and NPI launch support as required by local needs.
Co-facilitate training sessions with local resources where required (Field Sales Trainers, Regional Marketing etc.).
Provide Train the Trainer courses to local and regional resources to ensure continued product expertise in local countries.
Write post training reports that outline strengths and area of improvement for each participant to ensure continued development and coaching from the participants manager.
Continuously build product and sales force expertise through continuous learning through self-study and attending Smith Medical’s training courses.

Degree in business or life sciences with a background in sales, marketing, training and development or nursing.
Knowledge of medical devices industry.
Proven experience of Infusion e.g. :
Infusion devices (incl. syringe pumps, volumetric pumps, ambulatory / pain management pumps, disposable pumps)
Infusion disposables (incl. gravity sets, extension sets, blood sets, oncology sets, medication cassettes etc.)
knowledge Infusion therapies, clinical applications and related anatomy & physiology)
Significant prior experience in sales training, clinical education, learning and development, or field sales.
Experience in training delivery / facilitation.
Knowledge of training principles and techniques; such as adult learning principles, Instructional methodology, train the trainer, blended learning and e-learning preferred.
English is required, along with a 2nd language at a native or near-native level (French or German, possibly Spanish).
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Ability to establish relationships and collaborate with cross functional colleagues to accomplish department goals.
Ability to prioritize tasks and projects.
Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Word, Beginner in Excel.
Up to 50% travel in the EMEA region might be required.
