As AGM of course we expect the usual stuff on a day-to-day basis, running your site in style and supporting your GM to meet site targets, and in return we will have a structured personal development plan for you to push your career to the next stages from an AGM to GM.
As Assistant General Manager we expect you to be the one to lead the team, drive service and sales and be the constant face of energy and passion on the floor! The atmosphere in Grind is fast-
paced and vibrant, with strong emphasis on quality coffee, seasonal food, cocktails and always the best service. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in restaurant management, strong experience of leading and developing a team, loves leading from the front and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty!
Successfully run a high volume & fast-paced restaurant in line with company standards
Possess a full understanding of Steps of Service in line with company standards
Effectively support in leading a team of up to 20 employees
Create daily brief sheets for all FoH sections of the restaurant
Generate and complete weekly rotas to support payroll by submission deadline
To ensure all staff receive regular training, according to Grind’s procedures, relevant to their job description, that training is documented, and kept on file
To motivate all staff and project a positive attitude at all times
