MMP is currently seeking a Band 7 Fire Safety Advisor to start as soon as possible for a period of 6 months, on behalf of one of our NHS clients based in North London.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing professional advice and training for fire safety on behalf of the client as agreed with the Chief Executive through the Director of Environment and Fire Safety Manager.
The post holder will be responsible for fire safety management, fire safety training and effective communication within the Trust to build working relationships with the Trust’s Capital Planning and Estates Management teams.
Candidates are expected to maintain expert knowledge of fire code suite of documents fire safety standards, evacuation procedures, and portable firefighting equipment.
You should also have the ability to interpret the above into Building Regulations, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations, relevant British / European Standards and procedures.
The position falls outside of IR35 and is paying £30 / hr £32 / hr through an Umbrella company, depending on their level of experience.
