The Role

We are looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to liase with the veterinary team regarding the daily running of our busy branch practice.

Duties include supervising operating schedules, running nurse clinics, training of SVN and VCA, organising rotas, account management, insurance claims and general admin tasks.

The position is full time, 5 days per week plus alternate Saturday mornings with time off in lieu. Salary range £27,000 - £28,000.

Alcombe Veterinary Surgery, Whitton is a small and friendly team based in West London. The city and country are in easy reach due to excellent transport links and close proximity to Heathrow Airport.

The surgery is a well-equipped first opinion practice with visiting peripatetic surgeon for more complex cases. The team of two vets, one RVN, one SVN and VCA contribute to the warm family feeling of this branch that has a loyal client base and is part of the local community.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for a RVN with post graduate experience but will consider applicants with previous experience of supervisory positions.

Clinical coach qualification an advantage or training will be given.
