The job in a nutshell
As part time Project Manager (22.5 hours), you will manage the implementation of a wide range of end to end training and development productivity projects to deliver the digital learning agenda to enable the company vision.
You will work with a wide range of stakeholders (external and internal) to ensure the projects are delivered successfully within agreed timescales.
What you will be doing :
Manage a portfolio of People Development & Training projects, single or multiple projects throughout the full project life-cycle.
Work with stakeholders to identify and manage project resource requirements (internal and external).
Communicate up and across the People Team structure and with stakeholders across the business to influence the direction of projects to deliver the project milestones within agreed timeframes.
Work with the People Business Partners to provide regular status reporting to stakeholders and recommend options for contingency plans to mitigate identified risks.
Design, own and develop project management processes where needed.
Produce project plans, project control documents and project completion reports.
Facilitate project planning and governance meetings.
Manage the procurement process for new supplier contracts ensuring adherence to all regulatory, security and compliance standards and policies.
What we’ll expect from you :
Experience of project management within a fast paced environment with multiple stakeholders and highly changeable trading conditions.
Experience of procurement, project reporting, project finance & cost control.
Recognised formal project management accreditation (Agile, APM-IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2 etc).
Ability to deliver presentations using structure and style appropriate to the audience.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to positively influence and challenge supportively and effectively where appropriate.
