We are looking for a Communications Administrator to join our dynamic and fast paced team in Wellingborough, providing support to the Koch Media contract activities and assist in prioritising daily flows throughout the warehouse in a communications and administrative capacity.

Your Role

The successful candidate will assist in the priority planning of daily workflows and manage communication with our customer direct in addition of coordinating communication between operational departments, internal and external suppliers and carrier partners.

Your Responsibilities

  • To operate to all Company Procedures and guidelines (ISO) and ensure that performance standards are met
  • To have a clear understanding of all customer processes and administration, in accordance with Customer SLAs
  • To recognise and comply with the approved procedures supplied by the Customer / KN for the required activity
  • To provide a first point of contact service for the customer and KN operational departments dealing with all direct contact, correspondence and telephone calls addressing any concerns / issues raised
  • To support day to day operations within the contract with courier requests, orders, inbound / returns booking requests and all other arrangements as necessary.
  • To monitor and review warehouse management systems including any downtime

  • Communicate and support daily planning / prioritising within the operation. Maintain and provide statistical Information and reporting in a timely manner, as per SLA
  • Assist and document daily PI Counts and general stock takes, investigating any reported discrepancies providing feedback to the customer.
  • Assist in the planning and instructional coordination of re-work operations

  • Monitor, manage and maintain issue logs concerning IT systems and the operation with regular feedback provided to the customer
  • In additional to your normal duties you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business and flexibility should be recognised as a prerequisite of the role
  • Your Skills and Experiences

  • Previous experience in an Administrative environment
  • Attention to Detail and Accuracy
  • Excellent Organisational and Communication Skills
  • Internet and E-Mail Knowledge
  • Excellent Problem Solving Abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications Inc, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge of KN Warehouse Management Systems
  • Ability to Multi-task and Prioritise Workload
