We are looking for a professional internal recruiter to join our team on a maternity cover contract for 10 months. Recruiting for our recruitment agency, you will be sourcing recruitment consultants of all levels (for both the temps and perms team), sales professionals, account managers, administrative and back office staff.
We are looking for someone who is available to start anytime between now and mid June 2019 and who can commit to working for at least 10 months, but there is the potential for this to be extended and made into a permanent role for the right person.
The main focus of this role will be to recruit new members of staff to the team, however there will also be basic HR duties that will need to be performed.
Work with hiring managers to understand the requirements of each role and lead the recruitment process
Advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards and social networks
Source candidates through online channels
Screen CVs and applications and keep candidates updated on hiring processes
Interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
Update job descriptions
Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate
Onboarding all new staff arranging training with Training Manager, adding all details to the HR system
HR duties including managing sickness and holidays, creating letters, updating company handbook etc
Proven experience of recruitment, in an agency or in-house environment recruitment to recruitment experience would be a bonus
Strong understanding of recruitment legislation
Excellent communication skills with strong relationship building skills at all levels and strong influencing and negotiation skills.
Available to start mid-June and work on a fixed term contract for 10 months
HR knowledge or an HR qualification would also be a bonus, but this is not necessary as full training will be provided
