The Role

As a CNV Robot Operator you will be responsible for guranteeing the correct operation of the machinery at the end of the production line in complaince with product specifications.

The role supports the manufacturing process of some of the UK's best known toilet tissue brands.

Main Responsibilities

  • To stand over the operation of the palletizing island, to set up the changeover of the palletizer and guarantee the pallets procurement to the robot when needed
  • To check and overview the stretch wrapper operation, guarantee the change of the coil stretch film and the setting of the wrapper when needed
  • To overview on the labeling pallets process and guarantee the change of the label setting when needed
  • To monitor the LGV operation
  • To stop and restart the machineries when needed
  • To guarantee the troubleshooting related to issue pointed out during the day by day business
  • To manage the work orders
  • To support the colleagues in case of need and overview the packing process when required
  • To assist in training of new or unskilled colleagues
  • To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift
  • To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to
  • Knowledge, Skills & Experience :

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills , able to impart knowledge effectively to others
  • Good organisation skills , able to prioritise & multitask.
  • Knowledge of operating robots , palletisation and wrapping machines in manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Some technical ability & underestanding relating to automatic palletisation and warehousing.
  • Ability to identify and find a solution to a problem.
  • Postive work ethic & Team player.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Drive and determination to succeed
