Thriving Gastro pub looking for a Sous Chef to join their team.
T he establishment has 15 bedrooms, 60 seater restaurant, banqueting up to 40. Using all fresh produce in a team of 2 plus KP.
Duties of the Job :
Assist the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen and to take over in Head Chef's absence.
Work across all sections of the kitchen, providing support and guidance where needed.
Adopt and maintain the strict food safety and hygiene protocols.
Ensure consistent quality through a hands on approach to prep and service.
Assit the Head Chef to create new menu's.
What we need from you :
Sous Chef experience is preferred, however a strong Junior Sous may be considered.
Must be driven to succeed as a chef and work with the Head Chef to develop the business.
To be able to be customer facing when required.
Have excellent time keeping, personal and man management skills.
Clean, smart and tidy.
Salary up to £26,000, please note there is no live in accommodation.
