We are seeking a Credit Risk Associate - AVP who will be responsible for Banks and Public Sector portfolio in the EMEA region within Financial Institutions Risk Management (FIRM).

The Credit Risk Associate - AVP supports the Analysts with the day to day responsibility for a diverse portfolio of European bank and public sector clients.

The principal of the role is the management of Counterparty Credit Risk across the portfolio.

Some key responsibilities :

  • To support Risk Officers with all aspects of their responsibilities, including annual credit reviews, portfolio reviews, classified credit reviews.
  • To be the first point of contact in London with CRMS and Buffalo for dealing with excesses, unmatched items, and any other issues.
  • Make facility recommendations to Risk Officers.

  • Investigate and manage margin disputes.
  • Monitor ISDA / CSA credit terms, ensure all credit systems updated correctly; oversee resolution with analysts and Legal.
  • To be the first point of contact for all incoming credit requests in London, liaising with product management / relationship management / support areas across the globe.
  • Take responsibility for all regular reporting requirements. Examples include daily CDS / equity report, quarterly CCR stress test reports, CCAR exposure reporting, monthly PST.
  • Complete ad-hoc projects as required, such as reporting of portfolio data internal and external audit, regulators and senior management.
  • Knowledge, skills and experience required :

  • Relevant previous experience in Risk Management
  • Advanced quantitative and analytic skills required.
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • University degree or equivalent experience
