Commercial Contract Executive- Nottingham


The Commercial Contracts Executive position will provide contract support to the LexisNexis Risk Solutions Insurance business, a global provider of data and analytics products and services to the insurance industry.

This role sits with the Business Operations team but will also work closely with the insurance legal team members in executing on the strategic goals and objectives of the organization.

Commercial contracts is a new team for our rapidly growing business and so this role offers a great opportunity to be in on the ground in setting up this function.


Supports the legal team in providing credible and trustworthy guidance to the business, requiring the contract manager to :

  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions;
  • Work with business units to modify contract schedules for new products and pricing changes;
  • Provide advice and interpretation of contractual requirements under the supervision of more senior level personnel;
  • Perform routine and recurring contract administrative assignments such as compiling, reviewing, and preparing standard contract documents (amendments, attachments, schedules, and appendices);
  • Support the legal team in compiling responses to inquiries from regulatory authorities, customers and the wider sales, product and business community; and
  • Provide legal support and advice specifically dictated by the role and current specialisation of the counsel, including providing assistance to more senior lawyers and management in higher level matters, as needed.
  • Provide world-class Customer Experience to both our internal and external customers, requiring the contract manager to :

  • Demonstrate attention to detail and produces high-quality work-product in performance of administrative assignments;
  • Coordinate, lead and attend various business meetings with internal stakeholders, taking minutes and providing any supporting or follow-up materials;
  • Interact with all levels of management, customers and suppliers, working to deadlines and producing high quality work; and
  • Manage assigned projects to completion.
  • Be a key contributor to a highly collaborative and respectful and professional legal work environment, engaged in the development and growth of themselves and the wider team.

  • Ability to travel on a regular basis to support the legal work in our various offices (currently London and Maidenhead, but subject to change).
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's level degree in a related subject area preferred or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Strong proficiency in writing, editing and word processing.
  • Excellent business communication, administrative and organisational skills
  • Positive attitude and genuine desire to train and grow within commercial business role
