You will be required to perform a range of administration tasks to support the organisation which will include searching for relevant funding opportunities to apply to.
help create surveys; liaise with teachers, parents and student's and help produce materials.

In order to successfully do this role you're expected to be organised, confident and adaptable. You must be passionate about food and have a desire to improve our food systems.
We're a small organisation and so all employees need to chip in to the general smooth running of the organisation - be that helping us get some hampers out the door or helping out at an event we need you to be a team player.
As we work with young people the successful candidate will have to do a Disclosure Scotland check.
Fixed days but candidate can choose which - Will be roughly fixed but there can be flexibility

The candidate will do 3 externally run training courses on topics which we mutually agree would be beneficial for the role.
As our office is based in our kitchen and food is the lifeblood of our organisation the candidate will gain also gain a Level 2 hygiene qualification.
So much of what we do as an organisation is focused around improving the lives of young people. For those on our Apprenticeship we developed links with Action for Children who helped all of our young people with CV writing and enrolled them onto different courses or classes to give them essential skills they were lacking.
We would ask these young people if they wanted to work with Action for Children too.
We have also run in-house training on CV writing and interview techniques so we would ensure that when these employees leave they have been provided with this training.
We would also send them any and all jobs they may be interested in and make sure we introduce them to people and organisations whenever possible.
