TheDigital Operations group is responsible for enabling operational efficienciesvia technology solutions that are adopted by our business lines.

The primary objective of this role is to equip the team with the hands-ondesign & development skills to establish frameworks and usage patternsacross several technology platforms & 3rd party systems.

The current focusis assisting the Digital Operations group to provide workflow management toolsto enable process automation.

This role is ideal for a .Net Developer with experience integrating 3rd partyapplications into the enterprise environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Designing & implementing re-usable components that enable business citizen developers to leverage in their own applications, using programming, scripting, and / or database languages
  • Being the source of expert knowledge on how the applications work and why they do what they do
  • Supporting software testing, deployment, maintenance throughout the lifecycle
  • Actively participating in Architectural / Technical Strategy for products
  • Working with Production Support teams, triage and assist with resolution of Production issues
  • Understanding the business and systems architecture for the business lines we work with
  • Skills & Experience

  • Experience with bringing 3rd party solutions intoan organisation, bridging gaps introduced. You'll need to be able to learn andmaster a number of 3rd party applications to extract the most benefit out ofthem for business consumption
  • Proven experience as a .Net developer and designer working closely with customers, understanding their needs and being able to deliver to those
  • Experience in C# .Net development, systems integration (API, Web Services, SOA) and relational database design (MS SQL preferred)
  • Experience defining & establishing frameworks / patterns that drive repeatable outcomes in software delivery
  • Any prior experience with BPM or workflow tools such as Nintex, K2 or willingness to learn
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle & Agile methodology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships including with international stakeholders
  • Exceptional analytical and research skills
  • Strong work ethic and a team player
  • High levels of initiative with a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn and try new things
