We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic colleague who can help support a professional and efficient service, with a genuine interest in and understanding of student funding in the UK.
Applicants should have experience of working in a higher education environment, and be looking to further utilise their skills and expertise in this area.
The role will be based in the Student Funding & Admissions Operations Services team. The office manages a wide range of diverse bursary and scholarship schemes, Erasmus grants, elective travel awards, hardship funds, US Federal and private loans, student Oyster cards and all dealings with the Student Loans Company, as well as providing information, advice and guidance to current and prospective students.
The successful candidate will have the proven ability to provide a high level of customer service. They will be confident in dealing with complex enquiries and assessments, and will be able to communicate with a wide range of people at all levels within and external to the organisation.
The post is full-time and the post holder will be required to work to our published service hours, currently 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Irregular hours and some weekend work will occasionally be required at peak periods.
