Primary Function :
To provide Commissioning and Qualification Controls System expertise to project teams in the office or on sites
To provide Commissioning and Qualification Controls System expertise on our client’s sites when such requests arise ()
Main Duties and Responsibilities :
The C&Q Controls System Engineer shall be responsible to carry out the following activities :
Preparation of test documents associated with lifecycle of Process automation for a variety of packaged skids including, Chromatography, Centrifuge systems, Filtration skids, buffer vessel systems and supporting utilities.
Interfacing with system integrator and client automation team to develop test documentation for these systems.
Execution of test documentation in co-operation with the equipment C&Q engineers and package vendors.
Interfacing with representatives on project team, Construction, Engineering, Automation, Quality and End Users during the different project phases.
Change Management activities during project lifecycle
Key Competencies : (Education, Training, Skills, Experience)
A degree in science, chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of GAMP5, 21CFR Part 11, CSV Project Life Cycle
Knowledge of control system network architectures including PCS7 hardware and other PLC / SCADA hardware design
Knowledge of vendor skid packages PLC interfacing with Delta V system and commissioning of these systems
Knowledge of instrument specifications, control system specifications, environmental monitoring system specifications, package equipment control system and integration specifications.
Additional Competencies : (Education, Training, Skills, Experience
In order of priority :
Experience of Control Systems in similar engineering company and project environment.
Experience of Control Systems in the general pharmaceutical industry. (3-5 yrs)
Experience with Regulatory and industry standards for GMP and GEP
Experience using the ISPE baseline guides
Good team player
Good oral and written communication skills
