Working Week37.5 hours with possible extended hours depending on project
The Project & Client :
The Project Manager is responsible for project managing highly regulated projects from order placement through to invoicing.
The Role :
o5 years experience in a project engineer / manager role
oReview customers' orders and specifications.
oProduce project schedule identifying key milestones and monitor against these.
oProduce key documents including ITP, SDRL where appropriate.
oLiaise with Technical Support on documentation required by customer and suppliers to fulfil order requirements and any statutory requirements.
oLiaise with Purchasing to specify bought out items and Engineering for design work packages.
oMonitor progress of project between individual departments and fabricators calling and chairing meetings where necessary.
oMaintain customer contact for scope clarifications, progress and change orders.
oCommunicate with all internal and external parties involved in individual projects to ensure that satisfactory progress is made for the duration of the contract.
oMaintain Dates within SAP in line with company procedure.
oLiaise with inspectors where necessary.
oMonitor and prompt Stage Payments.
oMonitor and prompt retention close out and invoicing.
oMonitor costs associated with the project.
oWork closely with other business functions.
oMaintain the highest standards of ethics and integrity, always do the right thing and keep commitments. Engage others to build trust and encourage strong communication.
oUndertake foreign travel as necessary.
