We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapists at band 7 to join our team in Aberdeen City.
Band 7; 18.75 hours - Supported Discharge Team
18.75 hours - Acquired Neuro Team

The Supported Discharge Team is a multi-disciplinary team of AHPs supporting patients following stroke requiring intensive rehabilitation in their own homes.
The team has been running for over 10 years and continues to be dynamic and supportive with a strong identity.
The Neuro team is a multidisciplinary team including AHPs, neuro psychologist, nursing and medical staff. The team supports patients with acquired neurological impairments (including TBI and CVA) as part of their transition back to independent or supported living.
There are ongoing developments within the neuro service at present making it an exciting time to join the team.
In this B7 role you will have lead clinical responsibility for SLT services within SDT and those within the transitional service of the neuro pathway.
You will oversee the work of Band 6 colleagues to deliver individualised therapy plans in line with team goals, which are set in collaboration with the patient and their families.
The team is well supported by generic AHP Assistant Practitioners and has excellent administrative support.
This post is based within the Aberdeen Health and Social Care partnership Adult SLT team. An established supervision structure is in place for all team members.
The successful applicant will be a car driver. Dysphagia training / experience is also desirable.
