Cashflow is vital to any business, so keeping debt to a minimum is a priority. The Balance Collections team plays a central role in achieving that, allowing us to offer our customers a variety of payment options for their holiday.

We are now expanding into international markets and relocating our existing balance collections function to our Hammersmith HQ, to work alongside our growing Customer Services team.

This new team will have the opportunity to manage balance collections across UK and Ireland as well as new international markets initially Nordics and US but with the potential for further markets to follow.

  • As an experienced Credit Control Manager, you have developed successful credit control procedures and processes, then continuously reviewed and improved these;
  • championing automation and challenging traditional methods.

    You are a strong people manager, with extensive experience of managing multi-lingual teams - including their recruitment and development -

    and you may also have knowledge of one or more European languages (and fluent in English).

    You ensure your teams receive cash in a timely manner by following up on overdue balances, arranging sensible payment schedules and you assist with escalated issues from your agents.

    You also take the lead on the chargeback process; introducing new ways to minimise losses to the business.

    You are adept at building meaningful relationships with customer services and other internal teams (such as Tech and Finance), using those relationships to help drive the behaviours required to move you team, the business and our customer experience forward.

    You are skilled at developing and analysing KPI reports for all markets on a weekly basis and presenting these to the Financial Controller.

    You understand international markets and can analyse bookings to ensure that your shift patterns help to meet demand as it develops.

  • Your experience either within the travel industry or a multi-currency environment means you are accustomed to a high-volume workload;
  • maintaining a strong attention to detail.

    You understand that the international nature of our business means a shift-based rota pattern across a 7-day week operation, 7.

    5 hours per day excluding a 1 hour lunch break.
