These young people have complex needs and may show challenging behaviour. Our specialist teams and Registered Manager will support you to learn ways of helping them to manage this behaviour.
You will also need to provide assistance with personal care.
Of course we welcome you if you've been a care worker or healthcare assistant, but you don’t need experience, just the right attitude and personal qualities.
We offer extensive training and a great induction. We’ll support you to gain your Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (free of charge), alongside other specialist training all provided by MacIntyre's accredited training team.
You'll be someone with initiative and warmth, able to thrive in a constantly changing environment, confident yet knowing when to ask for advice, and able to work as part of a close-
knit team. If this sounds like you, and you're willing to learn, you probably have exactly the qualities our children and young people need.

It is essential you have a full driving licence
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week) and you will work shifts including early and late (evenings), weekends, and bank holidays.
