The Supply Chain Management Consultant Lead will be responsible for the following :
Reporting into the Commercial Lead this role will be a management consulting role, focusing on supply chain solutions, supporting the full life cycle from pre-sales, sales, sales support, solution design, all the way through to client delivery.
In addition this role will support revenue growth initiatives of the business, achieved through assisting the commercial lead in new product development, strategic growth, marketing campaigns, and running client delivery and outcomes with specific reference to the new services focusing on Spend Analytics, Category Management, Logistics, Supplier & Third-party Risk, Supply Risk Management, ESG, Strategic Sourcing, Contract Life Cycle Management and Supplier Performance Management.
This role will support the head of the business and Supply Chain operations lead with developing business development strategy, product development and drive client delivery.
This will include collaborating across the business with category experts, economists, commercial teams, solution designers, product managers, marketing and sales, all in support of client delivery and business growth.
General Job Duties :
Support the development of new services for the Supply Chain Practice, on Spend Analytics, Category Management, Logistics, Supplier & Third-party Risk, Supply Risk Management, ESG, Strategic Sourcing, Contract Life Cycle Management and Supplier Performance Management.
Support the development of the associated commercial models, approach to delivery, solution designs and operating methodology
Contribute and support the definition of the value proposition and the go-to-market messaging
Initiate and lead client delivery in the areas of Spend Analytics, Category Management, Logistics, Supplier & Third-party Risk, Supply Risk Management, ESG, Strategic Sourcing, Contract Life Cycle Management and Supplier Performance Management.
Takes overall responsibility for client delivery in the new areas, as defined
Partner with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, sales and marketing in selling and delivering end-products to clients.
Partner with external stakeholders such as platforms, tools and professional services companies
Support driving product / solution strategies
Creation of thought leadership to drive business growth in this space
Required Experience :
5+ years of experience in management consulting
Experience in corporate supply chain management, supply chain consulting, solution design and implementation across strategy, process, technology and data.
Experience working with new / non-traditional sets of data to make strategic decisions
Experience in developing new products and solutions
Product Management Certification a plus
Excellent English writing skills
Fluency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Must be deadline oriented
Must be able to work well with others and willing to work across global time zones
Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Logistics, Economics or related field
