The Team

KPMG’s Strategy & Performance Transformation team is looking at hiring a number of exceptional candidates, across grades.

The team is looking to attract professional, talented individuals who have a passion for identifying and creating innovative solutions for clients.

The role of the Strategy & Performance Transformation team is to work with C-level Executives to identify, structure and solve their most critical strategic issues across the economic and transaction cycles.

As part of a fast-paced and dynamic group, our consultants offer strategic advice on financial, business and operating models to corporate, public sector and private equity clients.

Within the Strategy Group we have an established cost & operating model capability, helping clients across the corporates sector to identify and deliver opportunities to transform their cost base and operating model in line with their strategy.

We work with C-level executives to identify, structure and solve the way that they go about solving these critical strategic issues, often working with many other parts of KPMG.

The Role

As an Associate Director within the Strategy & Performance Transformation team you will (supported by Partners and Directors) work with senior clients to help them solve complex business issues.

Associate Directors lead the design of engagements and have responsibility for day to day delivery. You will work with your team to shape the approach, develop and present your recommendations.

You will play a leading role in business development, proactively managing on-sell and cross-sell opportunities and supporting the identification, pursuit and conversion of new business development opportunities.

  • Additionally you will; proactively develop thought leadership; design and lead practice development initiatives; actively develops your own knowledge and expertise in chosen proposition(s) and sector of choice;
  • build and maintain a strong external and internal network; motivate, mentor and develop project team members and appraisees

    You will have :

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire your teams and develop outstanding client relationships
  • A mix of structured problem solving skills (including strong numerical capabilities combined with sound commercial acumen), ability to deliver insightful recommendations that can be practically executed, excellent written English and oral communication skills (other language skills would be a strong bonus)
  • Substantial experience of delivering cost and operating model transformation work across a range of sectors and a track record of delivering high impact projects utilising a range of approaches including operating model design and zero basing
  • Worked for a strategy house, big 4 firm, or central strategy / corporate development team, with experience of leading complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience of managing and supporting high value business development activities
