What will you be doing?

  • You will be responsible for supporting the HR CDA and HR Data Modelling Lead in the on-going development of the Data Modelling Capability within HR
  • You will be responsible for delivering data models within HR, including :
  • oHR Conceptual Data ModeloHR Logical Data ModeloThe Physical Data Model for the HR Data Hub, HR Data Warehouse and others

  • You will be supporting the implementation of the Group Data Management Policy and Standard as well as the Group Data Architecture Capabilities
  • You will be providing project design services for internal applications and performing gap analysis on SaaS platforms
  • You will be identifying and obtaining approval from stakeholders for HR Data Models and data definitions
  • You will be providing input to other project streams within HR Transformation as needed
  • You will be providing leadership in data design, data requirement gathering and clarification
  • What we’re looking for :

  • Strong experience in data design, data modelling and data warehousing, including industry standard data design tool, Kimball methodology and the inter-relationship of data tools
  • Good knowledge of at least one major RDBMS’ physical metadata capabilities, in particular SQL Server 2016
  • Understanding of the concepts of data entities, attributes, relationships, normalization, the use of advanced constructs including super-types, sub-types, self-referencing relationships etc.
  • Able to derive data concepts from documents requirements
  • Skills that will help you in the role :

  • Exposure to Big Data platforms, advising on data patterns for the same
  • Broad understanding of the HR function, purposes and organizational structure
  • Understanding of HR MI’s utilization within the organization, with an understanding of incoming future industry trends
