Senior Digital Marketing Specialist

At CF Fertilisers UK Ltd, we produce market-leading premier fertilisers that farmers rely on to optimise crop performance and yields.

As well as being the leading supplier of Nitrogen, manufacturing Ammonium Nitrate and True Granular Compound Fertiliser, we also provide process chemicals and utilities.

We are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to work in the Commercial Department in the Head Office in Ince, near Chester.

In this role you will be involved in the :

  • Development of an easy to use and mobile friendly website that meets the needs of CF Fertiliser’s customers.
  • Help write and execute the digital media plan, particularly increasing engagement across all channels.
  • Assist in the development of CRM within CF Fertilisers UK and ensure the accuracy of data and alignment with customer segmentation.
  • Work with the Commercial Team (including Agronomy functions) and outside providers to acquire collateral for use in digital marketing and sales support .
  • Support sales through digital marketing in specific target areas and market segments identified by the Commercial Team.
  • Set SMART KPIs for all digital and sale support work streams.
  • Use Google Analytics alongside Departmental market intelligence research to measure the impact of all work streams.

  • Developing a website that is objectively measured by customers as useful and usable.
  • Contributing to developing and then executing a digital media plan.
  • The accuracy and use of customer data within a CRM context.
  • The digital elements of sales campaigns.
  • Supporting distributor customers with their sales of CF products.
  • Measuring the impacts of digital media and sales support on customers and sales.
  • Managing the day-to-day spend of the digital marketing budget.

  • Work with Head of Marketing to agree digital marketing plan.
  • Head of Sales and related agronomy functions to acquire digital communications collateral.
  • IT and Sales team to assist in the development of CRM data.
  • Work with Marketing team to align conventional brand marketing and market intelligence with digital marketing and CRM functions.
  • Operational

  • Report to Head of Marketing on progress against plans within work streams.
  • To performance manage external digital marketing providers ensuring CF are receiving the right level of service.
  • To monitor spend versus budget monthly for digital marketing.
  • Input to weekly Marketing Department meetings and fortnightly Commercial Team conference calls.
  • Sales, Profit and Cash

  • Manage, with Head of Marketing having responsibility, the digital marketing budget of circa £150K per year
  • The skills, qualifications and experience you will have...

  • Educated to Graduate level, or equivalent in Marketing or Agriculture
  • Excellent digital, written and oral communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and belief in digital marketing
  • Evidenced experience of digital marketing
