About the role

Sense has a great opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Support Worker in Aylesford.

We have a number of permanent, part time & full time roles available working up to 37.5 hours per week. You must be fully flexible to do a variety of shifts including days, nights & weekends.

As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose : to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible.

Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible helping with personal care, supporting someone to rustle up some breakfast, do the weekly shop or visit a local café.

The people we support like going on holidays which you will also be part of.

Sense also supports people to take part in some of our amazing arts and wellbeing activities from dance to music making, swimming to ice skating.

About you

Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with excellent induction training.

However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people’s lives.

Flexibility is needed as working times do vary and will include evenings, weekends and sleep-ins; we will however provide you with a rota in advance so you can plan your life accordingly.
