Business Development Manager Private Sector

Becoming a Business Development Manager with Capita Integrated Business solutions :

The position will focus on creating opportunities for the Integra financials & procurement solution focussing on specific key market sectors within the Private Sector which have been previously identified as our target markets.

What you will do :

Prospecting the marketplaces and identifying opportunities.

Completing new business tender documentation, undertaking presentations and managing the sales cycle to completion including the construction of the contract.

Sales Planning & Forecasting and general sales administration.

Your experience will include :

Experience in the following areas are not essential but will be advantageous :

  • Software sales into Private Sector industries for 2-3 years working at C- level .
  • A proven track-record in one, or more Private sector segments i.e. Utilities, Comms, media etc
  • Ideal proven ability to break into a new market sector
  • Closure of complex deals exceeding £350k including licences & consultancy
  • Managing multiple opportunities
  • Attending initial sales meetings and meeting the client
  • Ability to self-generate leads from cold calling
