As the Manager, Channel Optimization for the Expedia Group Marketing Division, you will be responsible for optimizing marketing investment and prioritization across brands / LOB / markets / channels / audience, based on central team inputs.

Reporting to the Director of Global Channel Optimization, this role will play a key role in managing Expedia Group’s capital allocation process to optimize short-term performance and drive long-term growth.

Who You Are :

Extensive experience in Marketing trading, Marketing finance, or Marketing analytics

Deep understanding of Growth, Brand, and Customer marketing channels, and the challenges they face in driving scalable incremental return.

Expert in advanced modeling and able to deliver insights to marketing teams based on that modeling.

Ability to translate large amounts of data and business performance goals into strategic risks and opportunities.

Highly analytical and methodical with a problem-solving approach; must be metric focused and embed a test-and-learn culture and data driven decision making.

A collaborative approach and ability to interact with Central optimization team and cross-functional teams including Marketing, Analytics, Finance

BA or BSc degree level qualifications, ideally with a Marketing, Business Management, or Finance major; MBA qualification a plus

What You Will Do :

Lead process to improve all marketing inputs Growth, Brand, and Customer Marketing channels and identify, size, and prioritize optimization opportunities based on these inputs.

Translate central team guidance (P&L, analytics learning agenda, and regional local markets geo priorities) into channel targets and investment profiles.

Partner with central team and marketing on delivering spend change recommendations with estimated impact to short-term performance, and potential long-term benefit(s) to senior marketing leadership.

Drive material impact to the current capital allocation process, as measured by both EG business performance and qualitative survey feedback

Monitor and track full-view performance in partnership with central team and marketing
