This is a pivotal role within an organisation currently undergoing a large-scale IT Transformation programme. As this role will include supporting the Programme Director, IT Programme Manager and the rest of the Programme team, you should have strong Stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
If you have a proven track record in Service Transition for complex IT Solutions, have the ability to deliver through others in a matrix organisation and can deliver compelling presentations to business audiences who don't have the technical understanding.
Responsibilities for the Transition Manager :
Provide overall planning for service transitions and coordinate the resources that they require.
Control the lifecycle of all changes, enabling beneficial changes to be made with minimum disruption to IT services.
Implement a risk-appropriate Service Transition Framework in line with ITIL best principles.
Execute the Service Transition Framework for the Green Box Business Transformation programme.
Support the Programme Director, IT Programme Manager and the rest of the programme team to successfully deliver the overall change programme
Mentor the existing Service and programme teams around best practices in Service Transition and inculcate an understanding of why Service Transition matters
Experienced in providing a high level of customer service
Ability to communicate effectively both with end-users and supplier organisations
Requirements for Transition Manager :
ITIL Foundations certification
Solid MS Dynamics 365 knowledge
Solid MS Azure knowledge
Retail experience preferred
Communication & Facilitation skills
