Purchased about a year ago, and since then completely renovated and landscaped this is a stunning property used only at weekends by a busy, international family based for the most part in London and travel down Friday Sunday nights.
Enormous amounts of detail have gone into the furnishings and artworks within this property and therefore the client, an UHNW Businessman and his family are keen to find an experienced, meticulous domestic couple who are able to run the property like clockwork and care for it with the passion that they have invested in it.
With a gardener who oversees the grounds this role is very much focused on the internal side of household management and requires a couple who have worked in a large formal property previously and are adept at 360 running of the house to a very high standard.
The family have children but there is no childcare involved, but the couple will be required to cook to a high standard, with an emphasis on fresh, colourful and balanced food they aren’t keen on formal dining but do love having vibrant meals with friends and families and would ideally like to find a couple that either speak Portuguese or who have a knowledge of Brazilian cuisine.
Please note that the accommodation is within the main house, but has its own separate entrance and spread over 2 floors.
Location : Surrey (Cranleigh area). Hours : 5 Day week days off Tuesday / Wednesday. Salary : Dependent on experience. Interviewing : ASAP.
Start Date : As required. Notes : Clean driving licence. Up to date DBS required. Accommodation onsite. RESPONSIBILITIES.
Wrap around housekeeping. Linen Changing. Food Shopping. Regular stock inventories and replenishment. Changing lightbulbs.
Regular walk abouts to ensure maintenance issues are picked up. Light dog care (an elderly small dog onsite). Regular scheduled deep cleaning.
Cooking light, balanced and fresh meals. Some driving. Assisting the gardener when required. Maintenance and DIY. Errand running.
Car maintenance (cleaning / petrol). Swimming Pool maintenance. Liaising with external contractors for larger maintenance jobs.
Liaising with clients’ office for guest numbers, travel etc. REQUIRED SKILLS. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Private Household.
DBS cleared and up to date. Down to earth and happy to muck in. English speaking to a confident and competent level. Clean driving licence (both).
Confident and efficient with a can-do’ attitude. Incredibly trustworthy and discreet. Enthusiastic and proactive. Able to get on with the role the client travels considerably and therefore the couple must be able to get on with it’ in their absence.
