Responsibilities :

  • Liaise with finance to ensure service charges are invoiced effectively
  • Ensure the organisation meets legislative requirements in respect of Right to buy and right to acquire.
  • Take accountability for ensuring that rent and service charge accounts are effectively managed to maximise income collection
  • Review all aspects of Home Ownership / leasehold management, shared ownership and market rent services to ensure the necessary policies, procedures and processes are in place
  • Take the lead in ensuring the effective management of shared ownership properties and staircasing procedures ensuring that the team responds appropriately to operational and legal issues.
  • Developing and managing market rent portfolio
  • Manage other commercial properties ensuring the maximum income
  • Responsible for liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including solicitors to ensure the effective delivery of Value for Money services and scrutiny of third-party managing agents.
  • Complaint management.
  • Requirements :

  • Ability to make decisions on a commercial basis
  • Experience in managing staff.
  • Evidence of improving service delivery and policy development.
  • Marketing knowledge / experience
  • Knowledge of Section 20 Consultation
  • Experience of managing income collection
  • Knowledge of Leasehold, Shared Ownership and, Market Rent legislation.
  • This is a full time, 6 months contract position working Monday -Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm.
