Responsibilities : Prepare and direct preparation of food servedPrepare trays when necessaryRequisition and purchase foods and other supplies under the instructions of the kitchen managerKeep records as directedReceive reports on number of meals to be served on normal and special occasionsDetermine amount and type of food and supplies needed for daily menusSee that supplies are obtained from storage in adequate time for mealsPrepare all food servedPlan food production so that all meals are served on time and at the correct temperatureMay purchase food and supplies as directedKeep reliable inventory and rotate stock to prevent spoilageComply with all established sanitary standardsPrepare weekend menu in advance and leave supplies for weekendsInstruct weekend staff in final preparation of weekend mealsAttend all staff meetingsOther duties as required by Kitchen Manager Qualifications : Certification or a willingness to work toward certification in food service preparation.

A minimum of 1 year restaurant / food service experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent Driver's License Required? Yes
