The Role
We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our successful, recently refurbished practice New Ferry, Wirral.
Joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.
As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team.

This is a full time role working 4 days per week with 1 : 3 half weekends

Salary package up to £65,100 dependent on experience

Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years’ UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience and be confident in their recommendations.
You must be pet and client-centric and have excellent communication skills.

The Branch
Our New Ferry practice also works very closely with our smaller Wallasey practice. The role will be predominately based at New Ferry but work at Wallasey is required and equally shared between the team.
We have fantastic clients and we are active in the local community.
Varied caseload - potential for significant surgical and medical cases depending on clinical interests. Significant and established, laparoscopic and orthopaedic surgical case load.
Experienced nursing team and Practice Manager.
You will be working within a beautifully newly refurbished, well-equipped practice including digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, bronchoscope and endoscope, blood pressure machine, ECG, full lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser, laparoscopy kit.
