We have a fantastic opening in our Business Change Team as a Lead Test Analyst & Business Analyst Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a hybrid role that supports strategic execution and maximises business value.

This can be a remote role and therefore the successful candidate can be located anywhere in the UK with the expectation of regular travel to Marsh Commercial offices across the UK.

You will be covering a wide variety of strategic initiatives and business processes, technology (IT and Automation) plus change management activities.

You will be responsible for test planning, execution and BAU sign off as well as defining, managing and maintaining test excellence across Marsh Commercial.

The holder of the role will also be responsible for the management and leadership of a team of business analysts, including responsibility for owning requirements gathering from concept through to successfully passing User Acceptance Test.

As the manager of this team you will provide coaching and mentoring to nurture a truly best practice approach.

  • We will rely on you to :

  • Define, manage and maintain test excellence across Marsh Commercial which includes execution and oversight of testing and mentoring staff to ensure a best practice approach
  • Support the wider business change function in the capacity of Lead Test Analyst working as part of a project team on either an entire project or a specific component on a larger project
  • Plan, execute and oversee testing ensuring sufficient test preparation and coverage
  • Manage an agile business analysis team
  • Develop and enhance the BA team’s skills through training and best practice processes
  • Act as a key escalation point for projects in relation to requirements, testing and BA activity.
  • Manage changes to projects that impact BA activity, scope and identify contingency plans.
  • Forge professional working relationships with key stakeholders
  • What you need to have :

  • Proven experience working in a similar capacity and taking ownership of similar responsibilities as a Lead Test Analyst and BA Leader
  • Possess business and technical testing experience
  • Proven understanding of the project lifecycle processes
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as technical knowledge and capabilities
  • Competent in the use of MS Office applications
