Costain helps to improve people’s lives by deploying technology-based engineering solutions to meet urgent national needs across the UK’s energy, water and transportation infrastructures.
The project is based in South Wales at Felindre where Costain are engaged to re-commission a large gas compressor to return the asset to the National Grid allowing greater flow of gas from the Milford Haven terminal.

What will I be doing?
The role of Quantity Surveyor is to undertake administration and management of costs and contracts relating to projects.
The role may involve all aspects of work from the initial tender to final account and close out, seeking to minimise the costs and enhance value for money whilst achieving the required standards and quality.
This role will require you to work closely with the Project Manager.
You’ll be a welcomed member of the wider team, with opportunities to take on additional responsibility, join one of our networks for women, military or LGBT+ staff, and participate in cultural and social events with the local community (e.
g. as a STEM ambassador).
